Schug is a family wine business carrying on an 100-year-old tradition of hand-crafted Pinot Noir. With roots in Germany and now as 30-year stewards of the land at Carneros Estate, the current proprietors follow in the footsteps of their father and founder, winemaking pioneer Walter Schug.  By honouring their decades-old, handshake commitments with local farmers throughout Sonoma County, coupled with techniques handed down through the generations, they make wines known the world over for their grace and balance.
