Domaine du Clos de La Chappelle, Burgundy

In 2011, the team of Mark O’Connell, Philippe Remoissenet, and Pierre Meurgey purchased Domaine Louis Boillot from Monsieur Boillot and subsequently renamed it to Domaine Clos de la Chapelle, after its namesake vineyard. The purchase of the Domaine contained three plots of Premier Cru vineyards: Pommard “Les Chanlins,” Volnay “En Carelle,” and Volnay “Clos de la Chapelle.” Since the purchase, the Domaine has added additional appellations, nearly all Premier Cru and Grand Cru, including Corton-Charlemagne, Corton Bressandes, Volnay 1er Cru “Taillepieds,” Pommard 1er Cru “Grand Epenots”, and Beaune 1er Cru “Les Reversées,” to name a few.  In all, the Domaine comprises of 4 hectares (9.9 acres) and is organically farmed with biodynamic practices implemented in the vineyard.
