Leeuwin Estate, Margaret River

Leeuwin Estate was purchased by Denis Horgan in the Margaret River region  in 1969 and when Robert Mondavi visited a few years later, Horgan made the very smart decision to convert his farm to vines.  The estate quickly became known for their premium chardonnay based on the Burgundy style.  ome of the lowest yields in Australia and a near-perfect microclimate lie at the root of this estate`s success.
